In most studies in condensed matter physics we are dealing with ordered structures. Ordered crystal structures results in extended Bloch wave functions, which gives a relatively simple description for the electrical properties of materials. But in real world disorder is somehow unavoidable. In most cases the properties of materials do not change qualitatively by limited disorder. However, there are instances where disorder affects strongly the electrical and magnetic properties of materials. Disorder, generally, affects significantly the form of the wave functions and the transport properties of materials. Localization of wave functions gives important results on the electrical and magnetic properties of materials which in our group we study it under different models of disorder.
