The Quantum Technologies Research Group at Isfahan University of Technology operates as a leading entity in the fields of quantum sensing, quantum communications, quantum computing, and quantum computers. This group also focuses on quantum gravimeters and magnetometers. Given the increasing importance of quantum technologies in the country and worldwide, and considering the scientific and technical potentials available at Isfahan University of Technology, the Quantum Technologies Group was established in October 2023 with the collaboration of specialized and interested faculty members from the Departments of Physics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as the Information and Communication Technology Institute (ICTI) .
This group was founded with the aim of developing technology-driven research in emerging quantum technologies. Another goal of this group is to enhance and strengthen international collaborations with research groups abroad in the field of quantum, allowing researchers and students from this group to utilize the laboratories and infrastructures of these groups through joint international projects.
The Quantum Technologies Research Group also seeks to create suitable educational and research environments for young students and researchers to engage in research and development in various quantum fields. By organizing workshops, seminars, and scientific conferences, this group aims to elevate the level of knowledge and awareness in the field of quantum technologies and serves as a bridge between academia and industry, contributing to the promotion and commercialization of innovative quantum technologies.
